About me
I'm a UX/UI Designer for Apartments.com (CoStar Group) with a passion for creating unique web product designs ranging from mobile to desktop applications. I've been delivering design solutions for companies since 2005. I love crafting UX designs tailored to the client’s users, brand and style. I'm also a huge fan of Xbox Live and Uncle Maddio's Pizza!
My UX process
There are tons of UX processes out there, the process defined here is my own personal approach to UX design. Below is a simple breakdown of how I acheive the user & business needs.
01 Research
Empathize with the users learning as much as possible and identifying the users needs, business requirements and defining the problem.

02 Design
I take all the insights and findings gathered from research and use them to create a tangible design.
- Ideation

03 Testing & Validation
After a solid prototype is built, I'll setup a usability test to observe user interactions, behaviors and any problems with the product. I can facilitate moderated or unmoderated testing sessions.

04 Delivery
The final step in the process is where all of the above steps come together. I'll work with the dev teams to make sure everything has been implemented correctly and run my own QA before the demo & launch of the product.

Delightful Recipes - Mobile App Experience
A food recipe shopping app that I created in Figma. Customers can shop for meal ideas for the day that are already planned out. The recipes show all of the ingredients that can be added to the Grocery Bag (Shopping Cart). Customers can purchase the ingredients to the recipes of their choice. The app shows them how to cook the food using the step by step guide and video. The prototype is the high fidelity final design with smooth interactions and transitions. Apartments.com - Listing Details Experience
This listing experience allows renters to view details of the property and submit a rental lead to the landlord or property owner. This experience is a single page that branches off to other dynamic functional views. A few include a lead form, photo gallery, virtual tour and video of the rental property. The renter can also rate & review the property as well as fill out an application to apply for residency.

Bookit is a community marketplace app that I designed years ago for people to list, discover, and book unique accommodations from a mobile phone; similar to Airbnb.

Brand Identity
I always deliver designs that set my clients apart from their competitors. Their brand is their most valuable asset.
Typography
Typography establishes the personality of the website/app. The choice of typeface will determine how people respond.
Architecture
I like to layout sites & apps so users can get things done without having to think about it; without feeling confused and frustrated.
Front End Development
I create sites with clean markup and implement modern tools, features, and frame works for HTML 5/CSS 3 like: Bootstrap, jQuery and Font Awesome.

Qualitative & Quantitative Research
I investigate and establish design solutions.
High/low fidelity wirefames & prototypes
I sketch out my ideas on paper or create higher fidelity wires then move on to prototypes. Throught the design process I'll do A/B testing on variants to find the best choice.
Interface Design
My favorite part! Applying aesthetics to the wires. Adding the steps above together in the Sketch App, Photoshop & Illustrator to bring my ideas to life.
Front-End Development & Interaction Design
This is where I use my coding skills along with a couple of cups of coffee, to take the
web/app design from graphics to HTML 5 & CSS3.
